Join herbalist, educator, and wanderer Lori Briscoe, owner of Appalachian Teas & Botanicals for a ramble through the fields and forests at a nearby farm.
Join herbalist, educator, and wanderer Lori Briscoe, owner of Appalachian Teas & Botanicals for a ramble through the fields and forests at a nearby farm and meet some of the native wild plants used for food and medicine. A hot spot for biodiversity, Southern Appalachia gifts us with a cornucopia of botanical goodness. This excursion will introduce you to plants significant in Southern Folk Herbalism and in the resurgence of the wild food and medicine movement.
We will meet at Appalachian Teas and Botanicals at 9 AM and shuttle to the nearby farm.
