For 70 years the Virginia Highlands Festival has connected us. Families plan their summer vacations to come back home for the Festival. Schools plan reunions to take advantage of the artistic and intellectual activities of the Festival. The Abingdon community of small business owners create new connections with visitors who make their trip to the Festival an annual event.
